Most doctors will start you off on a mild form of acne treatment if you go the medical route. The two that come to mind contain retinoic acid (sold commercially as Retin-A) which you've probably heard of, as well as adapalene (sold commercially as Differin). They both work well for mild forms of acne. Personally they irritated the heck out of my skin, however spot treatments worked ok. However, just remember that everyone's skin type is different so these may work well for you.
First off, you want to get hold of some lemon juice and rose water. These two ingredients are the most effective cures for acne. You want to mix the two together, evenly, in a small bowl. Then apply the solution to the acne infected areas with a cotton ball. Leave on for 30 minutes, then simply wash off with warm water. You do this 3 times a day, every single day. I can't stress enough how being consistent with this method is important. This method does work, it's proven. But only if you do it every single day, 3 times a day. After a month you will notice a big difference!
Wash your towel or change it daily- This is another factor most people overlook and this can greatly affect your acne condition or might even be the root cause of it. You see a towel is something we use on a regular basis and often we forget that it gets dirty too and often has a lot of bacteria on it which might affect our skin. Make it a habit to change your towel or wash it daily.
